Haha, hopefully I didn't talk too much! I hope you noticed that the food colouring above the hot cups started to rise up and then when it was up the top of the container that it started to drop back down again once it cooled down. This is called a convection current! It's how heat is moved around a fluid, like water, or the mantle in the Earth.
