$7 for a head of lettuce as post-cyclone vege price hike continues

Shoppers are paying up to 7$ for lettuce. Cauliflower were also pricey, selling for $7.99 at one New World and $6.49 at Auckland Countdown. At New World Victoria park, iceberg lettuces cost $7 for a head wrap or $6.99 unwrapped. Bagged lettuce was also expensive, between $4 and $6. The humble cabbage was selling for 6.99 at New World, but it only $2.50 at Countdown.
