On Tabloids day, Our whole School played Sport Activity's and had lot's of Fun. We had four brand New house flags called kakariki, Kikorangi, Kowhai and Whero. When our leaders finish getting us organised, we were ready to go and play.

Boy struck by trailer in Waikato.
A six-year-old boy has been airlifted to hospital after being struck by a trailer being towed by an SUV in Waikato. Emergency services were called to First Ave North, at Waihou near Te Aroha, at 3.24pm on Tuesday. Police say the boy, a pedestrian, is in a serious but stable condition. The serious crash unit is investigating the incident.

Body found in Auckland's Woodhill Forest.
police say a body has been found in woodhill forest, Muriwai, but haven't confirmed whether it is missing Auckland woman carissa Avison. A search has been underway in the forest for the missing 21-year-old, who hasn't been seen since January. While police have yet to formally indentify the body, a post on the muriwai and Waimauku Area.

Invasive species on the march - study 2 hours ago.
New Zealanders are being urged to remain vigilant in guarding the country's borders, with new research showing pests are continuing to spread around the world. The study, involving an international team of 45 scientists, compiled more than 45,000 records of about 17,000 different species worldwide.

Family with baby on the way win Lotto's $18m prize.
Parents to be have even more to be excited about than the birth of their first child, after wining $18 million in the power ball and lotto first division during the weekend. The central Otago couple checked their ticket on the lotto App on Sunday after receiving an email saying they had won a prize.
Auckland Unitary Plan appeal rejected.
The hearings panel that provided the foundation of Auckland's Unitary Plan did not operate outside its jurisdiction, the High Court has found. Justice Christian Whata on Monday ruled against a group of appeals that claimed the independent hearing panel misinterpreted its statutory duties when it included capacity for more than 400,000 new residential homes to meet the region's projected population growth over the next 30 years in the new Auckland unitary plan.

McLaren F1 crash.

We are aware one of our cars has had an accident, the statement reads. No one has been hurt. There was no speed involved and we have adhered to all safety and road regulations. Skidmarks were visible for up to 80 metres on the road before the crash.The driver, a 65-year-old Australian was taken to the Queenstown Medical Centre with minor injuries.
